Meet Patricia, a remarkable flutist hailing from Leganés, Madrid, Spain, who took her first steps in music at the tender age of four. With a passion for the flute that ignited early on, Patricia’s musical journey has been one of determination, hard work, and numerous accolades.
Recently, in 2023, Patricia achieved a major milestone by completing her Music Degree at the prestigious Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid with high honors and received recognition in various competitions. Among her impressive list of prizes are the Grand Prize at the New York Classical Music Competition, Gold Prize at the Franz Schubert International Music Competition, and 2nd Prize at the Vienna International Music Competition Caneres, among others. These accomplishments are a testament to Patricia’s exceptional talent and dedication.
Her journey as a flutist began under the guidance of Ana Belén Gil Carrasco and continued to flourish as she studied with Vicente Martínez López. Additionally, Patricia honed her piccolo skills with the esteemed Carlos Cano Escribá. Beyond technical prowess, Patricia’s mentors instilled in her essential qualities such as perseverance, autonomy, self-confidence, expressiveness, and the ability to navigate auditions and competitions with composure.
With professional experience gained through collaborations with various orchestras in Spain and abroad, Patricia has shown her versatility and passion for music. Currently, she holds a prominent position as a member of the esteemed Banda de Música de Getafe, where she also contributes to its management board.
