Irene Gao is a 6 year old girl born in Bellevue WA, US.
Irene has always been passionate about music. She began her piano lessons with Dr. Qian Yin from age 4 and half. Since then she has won many awards, among which are Gold Star Prize in Music & Star 2022, First Prize in Chicago International Music Competition 2022, Gold Prize in Quebec International Music Competition 2022, Silver Prize in Global Genius Music Competition Fall 2021, and Third Prize in WPTA Spain 2021. She performed at Meydenbauer Theater, and was named Gold Star performer at Seattle International Classic Viennese Festival 2022.
Ever since Irene embarked upon her music journey, her perseverance, attention to detail, and musical storytelling have blossomed. Along the way she discovered her love for classic music, specially pieces from Baroque and Romantic eras. Her dream is to express and reach out to her audience, bringing people together through the beauty of music.
Besides piano, Irene enjoys practicing ballet, skating, and tennis. She also loves reading and writing stories.
